Graduate Certificate in TESOL
The Graduate Certificate in TESOL is a full-time (40 Credit point) program designed to provide initial training for teachers of English as a Second Language.
It provides the basis for language teaching methodology and its practical applications. The course participants are required to complete at least 100 hours of theoretical component and the minimum of 6 hours of supervised classroom teaching.
Students that wish to continue toward a Master of Arts (TESOL) program will receive credit for four subjects (the equivalent of 40 credit points).
Successful completion of the course qualifies you to teach in an Australian ELICOS institute providing you hold a recognised degree or equivalent. You will also be qualified to teach in many other countries across the globe.

The Master of Arts (TESOL) program provides language teacher education in teaching and learning English as a Second/Additional Language.
