Online Essential Skills Teacher Training Course

AIT offer the Essential Skills Teacher Training Course with a blended learning approach to suit your schedule and lifestyle.

 

AIT maintains regular dialogue with schools, colleges and recruiting agencies throughout Vietnam and Asia to ensure that our programs continue to meet and exceed the stringent demands of International ESL education.

AIT's team of educators have designed an extensive series of educational components for the Essential Teaching Skills Course centred on academia, practical application, multiple areas of employment and preparation for higher education.  
 
Material covered in the AIT Essential Skills Teacher Training course are the essential core subjects for effective TESOL teaching.  Essential TESOL components of the course are TESOL communication; conversation; listening; speaking; pronunciation; reading; writing and grammar.

Students receive copies of all course materials and are to complete the AIT TESOL course in their own time over a maximum period of six (6) months from date of issue.  All assessment pieces and videos are uploaded and sent to AIT Online for review and grading.

Get the most out of your Online AIT TESOL course with the bonus optional in-class practical, activity based methodology training!  All AIT TESOL Online students have the choice to join any AIT in-class Teacher Training Course (day, twilight or weekend course) and it is all included in their Online program.  The in-class training is an incredible experience for any teacher or student, after having completed the AIT course work to put all of that study into exhilarating practice!

The optional in-class training is at no extra cost.  The optional in-class training is valid within six (6) months of AIT Online course completion.

Within the Online AIT Essential Skills Teacher Training course the fundamental ESL skills are then practically applied  through lesson planning; lesson analysis; student demographics; lesson design; teacher preparation; practical subject application and theories; philosophy of teaching; teaching styles and theory based research. 

 

The comprehensive Essential Skills Teacher Training course cover not only the theoretical teaching aspects and delivery but also the physical, practical and dynamic implementation through International ESL methodologies covering:

AIT TESOL Certification will be issued after successful completion of the AIT TESOL Online course with all module assessments, exam, video classroom presentation completed and passed within the six (6) month period. As the Online AIT Teacher Training course is a blended program of self-study and optional in-class intensive practical training 'Online' does not appear on the AIT TESOL Certificates.

Also included with the Online AIT Essential Skills Teacher Training Course are two (2) of AIT's Key Skills of your choice, from the AIT Professional Diploma program for professional industry upgrades or to transition int the AIT Professional Diploma course.  The two AIT Key Skills are researched intensively and completed in the students' free time.  On successful completion and assessment of the two AIT Key Skills an

AIT Associate Diploma will be issued from Australia.

Prospective students are required to:

 

  • Interview with AIT Admission Management (in person or phone/Skype)

  • Online ESL proficiency test

  • Provide Passport / Identification
